Privacy Policy

At Valish Company, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information — especially in relation to our communications via SMS and text messaging.

Valish Company also does business as Valish & Company, Pocono Restorations, Habitat Building, and Amero Exteriors. References to these trade names identify the same legal business, Valish Company.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information:

• Name
• Phone number
• Email address
• Project and service inquiries
• Communication preferences
• Messages exchanged via SMS or other channels
• Google account information (when using Google Sign-In for our admin portal)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Respond to your inquiries
• Schedule appointments
• Send service updates and confirmations
• Provide customer support
• Send occasional promotional or informational messages

3. SMS/Text Messaging Consent and Privacy

Valish Company sends customer-care text messages under its own name and its trade names, including Valish & Company, Pocono Restorations, Habitat Building, and Amero Exteriors. Messages may include replies to inquiries, service appointment updates, project updates, invoice reminders, and acknowledgments of contact inquiries.

We collect your phone number, message content, communication preferences, and records of SMS consent and opt-out requests to provide this service. Providing a phone number or starting a website chat does not by itself enroll you in ongoing SMS updates. We obtain your consent before sending ongoing updates. If you text us first, we may reply about that inquiry; this does not enroll you in promotional messages.

Message frequency varies based on your inquiries, appointments, and active projects. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to SMS is optional and is not a condition of purchasing services.

We do not sell or share SMS opt-in data or consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We use service providers such as Twilio, Quo, and Chatwoot, together with our internal CRM, to process and deliver communications and manage customer service. We disclose information to these providers only as needed to provide those services, not for their marketing.

Reply STOP to opt out of text messages. Reply HELP for help, or contact admin@valish.co or (570) 213-9080. See our Terms and Conditions for SMS program details.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share data with trusted service providers solely to deliver the services described above. These providers are required to protect your data.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we have about you

9. Admin Portal & Authentication

We provide an admin portal for authorized personnel including administrators, sales representatives, workers, and potentially clients to manage projects and access company resources. When you sign in to our admin portal using Google OAuth (Google Sign-In), we collect and process the following information from your Google account:

• Your name and email address
• Your Google profile picture (if available)
• A unique identifier to maintain your account

This information is used for authentication purposes and to provide you access to the admin portal features appropriate for your role. Your Google account credentials are never stored by us — authentication is handled securely by Google.

We may also request access to your Google Calendar to enable scheduling and appointment management features within the admin portal. If you grant calendar access, we may:

• View your calendar availability
• Create, modify, or delete events related to your work assignments
• Send calendar invitations on your behalf for scheduled appointments

Calendar access is optional and you may revoke it at any time through your Google Account settings. We will only access calendar data necessary for the functionality of the admin portal and will not access other Google services such as contacts or drive without your explicit consent.

By using Google Sign-In, you also agree to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

10. Cookies and Third-Party Services

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to enhance your browsing experience, analyze site traffic, and enable certain features. These cookies may be set by us or by third-party providers whose services we use.

Third-party providers we use include:

• Calendly — for appointment scheduling. Calendly may set its own cookies to facilitate embedded scheduling features and improve usability.
• Google — for authentication via Google OAuth on our admin portal. Google may set cookies to maintain your authenticated session and provide security features.
• Firebase — for backend services including authentication and data storage.

By using our website and interacting with these embedded tools and services, you consent to the use of these cookies.

You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time. However, disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain website features, including the ability to remain signed in to the admin portal.
